Hey, me again. Back with icons of one of my newest loves, Supernatural. All icons are from last week's episode, though they are non-spoilery. Or they're from promo pics. I'm really fond of how these came out. These icons (especially the black and white ones) were inspired by a tutorial by ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) saeva, who uses textures in just all the best ways.
I'm also including a banner/header, a contest entry for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) lock___down. Go and join it! All the cool kids are doing it!

| Dude, an update |

I sitll exist! Yay. Sorry to everyone watching this journal, my time for making pretties is just not around like it was before. So even if I do make stuff, it takes forever to be posted. Which brings us to today's post. A set of icons that I a week ago but am only just now posting. But there is lots of pretty. I come with a fairly large batch of Jason Dohring and Ryan Hansen icons.
All, of the pictures were taken at a mall appearance by leucocrystal. The pictures can be found here and I strongly recomend checking them out because they really are fantastic. HQ pics fromt his kind of event are really rare.
Note: most of these icons are pretty basic, since I wanted all the attention to be on the pretty pretty boys, I'm not a big text gal and color correcting the pics was some work (I used only the original unedited photos, none of the color corrected ones). However, I do realize that there may be people out there who like some text on their icons, so if you want to add text to them, that's fine but please just text. I know they're simple, but I did work hard on these. Other rules remain the same: comment, credit, no hotlinking etc.

Finally an update with stuff I've been meaning to share for awhile. A huge (and I do mean huge) post of headers/wallpapers/blends, many with matching icons. I've been sitting on this post for quite some time now, so it's large. I've been meaning to do this for a few weeks now, but somehow never got around to it. But now is as good a time as any. And by ow is a good time, I mean I'm at work and bored out of my freaking mind.
Now, I've never done this before so we'll have to see how everything goes. But I will take icon requests. And since as of right now, I'm not anticipating getting an over abundant amount of requests, I'm not limiting the number of requests you can make. If I do get too many to handle, that will probably change.
So please comment with links to pictures of decent quality. If your picture is too crowded with JPEG distortaion or whatever, they're really hard to work with. And like I said, I'm bored, so comment with links to pretty pictures for me to look at!
I will have an actual post coming sometime soon. I have a ton of headers/larger graphics to share.
And finally a small request of my own: PLEASE DO NOT comment in my personal journal about graphics stuff. I try to keep the two accounts very seperate and pretty much no icon stuff gets posted in regular journal. If for some reason, you think I'm so awesome that you want to read my actual journal for me and not graphics, that's fine, but otherwise keep icon stuff int he icon journal. If you want to get a hold of me, just leave a comment in the most recent post and I'll do my best to get back to you. Thanks, guys.

First off, I noticed that I've crossed the 100 mark on my Friends Of list. That was kind of a big moment for me. I like making icons and things and I like sharing them, which is why I do it. But I have to admit, knowing that other people seem to like it too, makes me feel honored. Very honored. And flattered. So thank you for that.
And now for icons. I may try and do some sort of special project coming up, but for now I've got icons and a header of Milo Ventimiglia. Because he's got that new show coming up. And also, because he's hot.

I got bored and wanted to make icons. Since I didn't feel like capping anything, I had to stick to pic resources on I could get online. Meaning a celebrity. Angelina Jolie specifically since I don't icon as many actresses as I do actors. Plus, well, just look at her. All pics from angelina_daily and Amazing Angelina.
On another note, I know promised new uploads of my fanmix but I've been having trouble getting things to upload, that's why it's taking so long. I'll keep trying though.

Yeah, so I made House icons. Finally. All of these are from the episode 'Heavy.' There aren't very many of these (only six). Ordinarily, I try not to post with less than eight icons., but well, making House icons is hard. All they do is stand around and talk. But wildcatlizzie can stop bugging me, at least.

So I haven't made Buffy icons in...oh, years? It could be. A year at least. Too long. I started out making Buffy icons and it's nice to go back to that. These are from the episode School Hard from the second season, infamous as being the first appearance of Spike. And theses icons are 80% Spike. Because Spike in this episode sing-songing "Someone's in the ceiling" remains one of my all time favorite Buffy moments.

Yeah, me again. What can I say, I have too much time on my hands. I have Mariska Hargitay icons because Olivia Benson kicks ass. And there's going to be another post coming really soon cause I'm working on another icon set. And no Liz, those aren't House icons either. I just haven't felt like screencapping. Oh and I forgot, I made another icon set the other day and forgot to post them. So those will be coming too. What can I say, I'm an icon making machine. Tutorials might be coming soon too.

Can't say I've ever done this before but there's a first time for everything, right? It's a fanmix. Specifically, a Veronica Mars fanmix. It's a general mix for the whole series, mostly focusing on the darker, seedier aspects of the show. VM is a noir and this mix is supposed to represent the dark side of the series. This is new for me, so comments would be lovely.

Serenity icons. I started making icons from this movie just ages ago, but I hated them and lost interest. And then last night I couldn't sleep and needed a project. So I made icons. At two a.m. And there a lot of them. Almost 40. I'm pretty sure this is my biggest batch ever. Most are pretty simple because at 2 a.m. I just wasn't one for experimenting with composition.

So I said House icons. Instead you get Kristen Bell. Because instead of screencapping House, I screencapped Lords of Dogtown. And then I lost the icons I was working on when my comp crashed. So here are these. Which are awful pretty so it's ok. I was gonna post a wallpaper too, but the blending didn't turn out so great, so no wallpaper this time. Thanks to kristen-bell.net for the images. I might do a couple of tutorials soon too. Might. I have a tendency to not get around to tuts for a while so we'll see what happens.

Seriously, I do. I've got yet another partially complete icon set sitting around my hardrive. Will I ever finish it? Eh, probably not. This is why I have to do icon batches in a single sitting. Any longer than that and I lose interest. Anyways, House icons will probably be coming soon (I just have to make screencaps) but for now, here's that batch of banners (most with a matching icon) I've been promising for awhile. These would all work great as journal headers so if that's your intention, feel free to resize as needed. Oh, and as I've looked over all of these collectively, I realize Amy's right, I really do have a style. My stuff (especially with blends) tends to look similiar. But well, I love repeated images, I think there's a grace to them. Plus, while I am trying to improve my composition (which is much harder than it sounds), I'm not very good at actual blending and using boxes/repeated images is one way to get around that).
On another note, I recently searched myself on LJ Seek (What? It's no different that Googling yourself, and who hasn't done that?) and I found several instances of people posting and linking back to my tutorials. In fact much more than I thought. So if you've done that, thanks. I'm flattered you would take the time to pimp my tuts and I'm glad that I'm helping.
Oh, and all banners, with the exception of one, were made for lock___down, a super fun comm. Subjects included in this post are: Harry Potter, Marilyn Monroe, Scrubs, stock photography, Jennifer Connelly, Portia De Rossi and the Whedonverse. So, I said y'all would be hearing from me again soon. Of course I don't have any of the stuff I said I'd be posting but you are hearing from me. I made a large batch of icons from Beauty and the Beast last night instead of posting old stuff I made before. I've been stressed out and making icon is relaxing. Makes me feel better. So you get icons. All textless because the thing about Disney is that the caps themselves are works of art and I didn't want to clutter that with lots of stuff. And plus since I figured out adjustment layers for coloring, I've been going: whee, look what I can do!
